Dude.
Denny’s is calling out Coachella.
Dude.
Dude.
Denny’s dude. Wow.

It’s actually a real tweet.

Well played, Denny’s social media manager.

Moons over my goddamny!

Denny’s, famous for real, egregious acts of racism so bad that it had to operate under a consent decree and pay millions of dollars. Tweeted this.

Two women in their 70s who have never flown get to experience flying on a private jet to Barcelona in this 10 minute video produced by Vodafone.

The word “delightful” was invented for this video. It is quite possibly the most delightful thing I’ve seen in an extremely long time.

I never watch videos that get posted here. Never ever ever. I had to watch this, having seen it enough times in the last couple days and been intrigued enough by the idea and the commentary. I just literally cried for like eight minutes straight watching these two beautiful, adorable women experience their first flight. It is the sweetest, happiest thing.

This is joyful.

This will be the best 10 minutes of your day.

Beau Thai in Shaw is moving and while I know long time Shaw/Bloomingdale residents have Real Feelings about it, I’m also bummed about it.

sarahluz and I had our first date there when I first moved here. There and then Big Bear down the street where I was very proud to find they served Troegs….

luv u so hard bb. thank cheese jesus you moved here.

but for real when I read this I actually gasped out loud because we are talking about a restaurant I have ordered delivery from like 5-6 times a month for four years. the only restaurant number I have programmed in my phone. is it weird that I remember the first time we got takeout, on a rainy summer night right after it opened when a bunch of us were hanging out at 1728 first for some reason or another, and my sister came by and erin thought she was an indian boy. good tiiiimes. i have REAL FEELINGS (c) about this move okay???

what I’m saying is that north bloomingdale better still be in the delivery zone over at your fancy new 7th & P address or there will be a STRONGLY WORDED LETTER. and tears.

editing this to add that when I got off the plane from kentucky last night I literally ordered beau thai in the cab on the way home. that is the level of devotion and continual hunger we’re talking about here, people.

I’m just happy that my new place in DC is in the delivery zone for the Mt. Pleasant spot. Because fucking delicious thai food that I ordered at least once if not twice a week when I lived in north Bloomingdale and yeah, you better keep the old delivery zone, Beau Thai, think of the children or something.
